I claim only a novice interest in racing, but I was schooled in the Vince McMahon theory of sports entertainment, and whenever something like that occurs (provided no one gets hurt), it's good for the sport. It's always good for the sport because it gets people interested; those who like Jr. think it's great, those who hate him, it's just one more reason to hate him. And the sport grows and grows.

I think this fine is well deserved. He is my boy, but he deserved it.

That was a chicken shit thing to do. I saw him do it and I thought to myself "How the fuck did he spin out, just out of the blue???"
I question Jr's integrity now. Once you lose that, what have you got? He's shown he'll cheat.
The penalty wasn't enough in my mind.

Well, when it comes to nascar that is a pretty heft fine, a total of 50 points (driver and owner) and $10,000 plus on probation. While I can't believe he did something like that, I think it might have something to do with the limelight, maybe he is looking for away to get all the attention off him, maybe try to get people to falter off and realize he isn't perfect....
I dunno, it was a dumbass thing to do, but he is paying for it.
